Peter Jones A great opener and the closing number is also a winner, on this slight return to the more eclectic style of Blues for SBT. Good listening throughout. Favorite track: Your Mind Keeps Ramblin'.

I recall the longest road I know Revisiting the stories of the past Nobody wants to walk close to that road You can’t sign your name in a burned paper The sun is goin’ down You‘re standing by yourself There are so many things to see and feel Smoke, destroyed clocks the smell of the burned stars the attempt of the spider to hide its webs Don’t cry during a night’s thunder, just change your tune. You can watch the wind, maybe you can let a teardrop. You want to keep that feeling alive. Good times…
2.
It sure looks funny that you walk between the shadows in the jail of this little town you have too much to think, the cold and the rain don't let you down It sure looks funny that the moon looks like a desert in a place without a map you are proud of what you are and there is no time for a nap It sure looks funny that the night is interesting and full of mistakes the wind don't blow and you can't feel the quakes It sure looks funny after a night you can't remember to come a day you ‘ll never forget you learn how to lie and how to keep your secrets, lightning one more cigarette
3.
When there ain' t no light at night don't go down the Frenzy Lake there is a path in which strange things happen when you pass the invisible gate Your broken ring and the rat bone your silver dime and the rattlesnake skin can't help you drive away from the lake's evil spirits Unless you see the man with the flaming violin When the moon has fallen asleep don't go down the Frenzy Lake the shadows won’t forgive your magic arrow you ‘ve got nothin’ to give and take
4.
I ‘m a Box Jellyfish, my toxins attack the heart the forest is my home ‘cause I ‘m a King Cobra too I ‘m nothin’ but a good man been treated wrong by you I ‘m a Marbled Cone Snail, beautiful looking but deadly I cause severe pain ‘cause I ‘m a Stonefish too I ‘m nothin’ but a good man been treated wrong by you I ‘m a Blue-Ringed Octopus, small but dangerous you can't touch me ‘cause I ‘m a Poison Dart Frog too I ‘m nothin’ but a good man been treated wrong by you I ‘m a Death Stalker Scorpion, my sting is painful I produce violent death ‘cause I ‘m a Puffer Fish too I ‘m nothin’ but a good man been treated wrong by you
5.
Now we are strangers, we are two different melodies you are ready to kill me in this war When something good happens I can't share it with you anymore Now we are strangers, I swear it feels like this worry is my only friend in this life's store When I cry you can't make my tears disappear anymore Now we are strangers, trapped in time the devil is smoking round my door When something is troubling me you can't understand me anymore
6.
I see children dying in the street People searching for garbage to eat Dirty streets, frightened people everywhere Oh my lord I want to ask you why The world has been turned into a huge inferno Rich bastards rob poor people blind On every corner, in every place Oh my lord I want to ask you why Prisons are filled with innocent men And the madhouses can’t afford any more people Everywhere pain, sorrow and death Oh my lord I want to ask you why False promises and cheap excuses All of this sometime will end but nothing changes, nothing happens Oh my lord I want to ask you why Now the hopes are gone away forever And the days seems like a nightmare My only wish , all I want for me Oh my lord take me away from all of these
7.
When days are blue my mind leads me to ramble in the darkest streets all night but when I whisper my fears to my baby she says: we gonna have a good time tonight Sometimes I want to mix everything up with whiskey Sometimes I feel out of this world but when I whisper my fears to my baby she says: I love you baby, you are not alone in life's road Some people are satisfied ‘cause they got me down Some people break my heart without a reason but when I whisper my fears to my baby she says: we are out of their season
8.
Going back ,remembering the good old days When the sky was shining And the girls smiled easily Something beautiful a really sweet feeling I said to myself “this is your place to live This is the way that you have to follow.” I remember my mom telling me Son, look out for yourself Now I know how right she was The truth was everywhere I went Even if I had troubles I was dreaming of my home A warm place to rest in the morning For many years my home was the road Sleeping under bridges And over the ground I was a bird on a wire I was a lonely howlin’ wolf.
9.
I am the black crow king a blind boy under the trees in the dark wood is my den my soul is full of sins I am the black crow king I 've been cursed to live for thousand years I have seen kingdoms rising I have seen kingdoms falling I am the black crow king I can see your footsteps and I know your story I will always be waiting for you at this crossroad, you don't have to worry
10.
You never learn in school about the deep river's sorrow but your mind keeps ramblin' your mind keeps ramblin' You never spent much time worrying about things that money just can't buy but your mind keeps ramblin' your mind keeps ramblin' The future looks so unclear it is written all over your face but your mind keeps ramblin' your mind keeps ramblin'
